Where were you this time last year....

It's Crazy how much things change in a year isn't it!?  For me it has changed for the better and I hope for you too!  This time last year I was beginning my new job that I hated!  It was the most unprofessional place I have ever seen.  No one got along, and no one valued the customers like the company expected from us.  Everyone was lazy and they probably felt the same way I did... They hated there job! 

This time last year Thai bought our camp trailer! We were so excited and couldn't wait to take it up to the lake and camp for 4th of July weekend.  

This time last year we lived in an apartment.  No yard, we lived with roommates, we didn't have enough room for Dakota to have a bedroom, we had people above us and below us so we had to always make sure we weren't being to loud. Not fun!

Now I LOVE my job!  I work with awesome people.  It's professional, we work as a team, and you can tell we all enjoy our job.  My manager is awesome and is encouraging.  He always has me in different training and trying new things that will help me move up and make more money! 

Yesterday we sold our trailer! :( Back to tent camping! :)  Were sad but happy at the same time.  The camp trailer was awesome and we used it a lot but we needed to cut down on some payments.

Now we own a home! We can be as loud as we want and hang anything on the walls and not have to worry about it.  Its painted the way we like it and we can remodel all we want!  We have a big yard thats fenced with a pool and a beautiful raised garden! 

LIFE IS GOOOOD! LIFE IS RRRREAL GOOOOD!

Another amazing Weekend....

I joined a Relay for Life team this year! The Albany Relay for Life was this weekend at West Albany Highschool and the weather actually cooperated for us until early Saturday morning! Our team was made up of me and another lady that works with me and some employees of a local daycare center.  It was a lot of fun... We had two bouncy houses donated to us for the weekend so we set them up and took donations that went to the American Cancer Society... It was perfect for the kids.  Our team raised over 2500 dollars! We were pretty proud.

Her name was Leona but my little sister and I called her Grandma Onie.


The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length.
Relay began in 1985 when Dr. Gordy Klatt, a colorectal surgeon in Tacoma, Washington, ran and walked around a track for 24 hours to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Since then, Relay has grown from a single man’s passion to fight cancer into the world’s largest movement to end the disease. Each year, more than 3.5 million people in 5,000 communities in the United States, along with additional communities in 20 other countries, gather to take part in this global phenomenon and raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer. Thanks to Relay participants, the American Cancer Society continues to save lives.

My little man is so much fun and he's such a good boy!
-He gets so excited when mom comes home
-He loves going bye bye
-He would rather poop in the house instead of outside :(
-He LOVES playing with his toys
-He likes to sleep under the blankets curled up in a ball by mom or on moms pillow
-When he's on walks he likes to lift his leg on every little thing we walk by
-On a leash he thinks he's the biggest dog in the world
-He likes to pick on his sister (a border collie mix)
-If he could be with mom 24/7 he would be the happiest pup in the world
I just love him! He was the best Christmas present in the whole world!

My garden is planted!

 So excited that I got all my little starters planted! I have zuchinni, squash, cucumber and green beans in one and then in the other I have more green beans, different kinds of lettuce, radish, broccoli, tomatoes, and hot peppers! I'm going to plant grape plants on that trellis back there here soon.... Can't wait to get grass planted, rock put down, and more plants planted! :)

Our New Beautiful Bathroom!

This is Thais 2nd time ever doing tile and he did an amazing job! I'm so very proud of him! It started out with pink and white sponge paint, pink counter tops and white linoleum and super ugly and old lights.... with two puppies and me who uses a lot of hair product and loses hair like crazy white linoleum is a horrible idea! EVERYTHING shows!

all done! :) we got a good deal at home depot for the towel hangers, knobs, and faucet and I found that mirror at tj maxx!

I LLLOVE what he has done so far! One flat black wall with the rest of the walls white with 3 horizontal stripes going all around. It looks so much better than it did before now we just need to knock out that wall that separates the shower and toilet from the counter space so the bathrooms more open! :)
