last day.....

Tomorrow is my last day of work and then im officially on vacation!  I have never been so excited to be off work for a week and a half! I have lists of diy projects and other things to do around the house!

-some toilet paper art for dakotas room
-rose bud initials for our bedroom
-a pretty sign made out of blocks
-painting our kitchen cabinets
-hanging and organizing pictures

and lots of house cleaning! stay tuned for my fun projects! :)

The boyfriend and I are going to ride allll weekend! were going on a poker ride and then riding to washing to visit family! stay tuned for some fun pictures! :)

cube steak with some mushrooms and gravy

This is one of my favorite things my mom makes so I gave it a try last night.  It might not be the prettiest thing but it is soooo good.   

you need flower, garlic salt, onion powder, pepper, one beef bouillon, one egg white, half cup of milk, and fesh sliced mushrooms

well and of course the cube steak... this was one big one and I just cut it in half.

beat the milk and egg white together and on a seperate plate put some flower, garlic salt, pepper, and onion powder all together.... while your doing this heat the pan with some olive oil.  Dip the cube steak into the milk mixture and then roll it into the flower mixture and put it in the pan.  

you want to cook it until its dark brown on both sides on medium heat.  This might have been a little too brown.  (oopsies)

while the meat is cooking crumble the boillon cube into two cups of water until its well disolved.

once the meat is done enough for you place it on the plate and start sauteing the mushrooms

once the mushrooms are cooked add the bouillon and water into the mushrooms and stir in two heaping tablespoons of flower.  Stir constantly with a fork...

until its thick and there's no chunks.

WAALLLLA! you have a meal! I made a baked potato and canned spinach to go with it. 

9 MORE DAYS!!!

Yup! 9 more days until I'm on vacation for 12 days! I haven't had a vacation for a year and a half so I'm sooo ready! I'm not going any where specail... I'm just going to spend lots of time with the pups and making our home pretty. :)  We have so many drawers full of clutter so I'm going to get them all organized... But the best, most exciting part of making my house pretty are my kitchen cabinets! I'm finally going to PAINT THEM! I came across a website and I fell in love! I can't wait to try it.  The brand is Rust-Oleum and they have a Cabinet Transformation kit!  All kinds of colors to choose from... you dont have to sand or anything! I'm going to try it out while on vacation.  http://cabinets.rustoleumtransformations.com/ Check it out! There's a light color kit and a dark color kit. I'm going to go with the dark color kit.  I'm either going to choose the color black for my cabinets or Espresso.  So stay tuned peeps! Pictures will be up of my beautiful new cabinets! :)

Our life has some struggles, there have been some bumps in the road, but I wouldn't want to share those bumps and struggles with anyone else!

He makes me feel good in every way possible.  He treats me like a princess!
